By creating an account or using the Apex Secure Tech app and devices, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Apex Secure Tech provides air-quality and vape-detection devices and an app that sends alerts to designated staff when the devices detect air conditions consistent with vaping.
2. Detection is an aid, not a guarantee
Our devices are a monitoring aid designed to support staff. They detect environmental indicators and do not guarantee detection of every event, and may register readings from non-vaping sources. They are intended to assist — not replace — your organisation’s own supervision and duty-of-care responsibilities. You are responsible for how you act on alerts.
3. Your account
Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring the people you add are authorised.
4. Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and only for its intended monitoring purpose. Do not misuse, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service.
5. Intellectual property
All software, branding, and content remain the property of Apex Secure Tech. You receive a limited right to use the app and devices for the service.
6. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes arising from reliance on detection alerts. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
7. Warranty
Hardware is covered by the warranty provided at purchase and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
8. Termination
We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
9. Changes
We may update these terms and will post the revised version here.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
